Apple’s New Products

While the Coronavirus is still spreading, Apple Inc. has released some new products. There are actually two highlights:

  • The new MacBook Air

  • The new iPad Pro

First of all, let’s have a quick look at Apple’s Stock Market.

Apple graph

As you can see from this graph, Apple’s stocks were doing fine (even at the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis), but then dropped again. Currently, the situation is fairly problematic. Yet, what can you do in such a situation: Launch new products!

Now I want to give you a quick overview of these new products. Let’s start with my personal favourite:

The new MacBook Air

MacAir

It is sleeker, yet powerful and has 2 Thunderbolt 3 Connections. The new MacBook Air has the new improved Butterfly Switch, which is better than ever (but not as good as the original Apple Scissor Keyboard). And even though there is no TouchBar, there is a Fingerprint Sensor with TouchID of the 2nd Generation. It is made from 100% recycled Aluminium, which means that this is the “greenest” Mac ever. And it has more power than ever. Also, it has the new Intel 4-Core i7 Processor, ideal for “Gaming”.

So, to conclude, the new MacBook Air is neat and sleek, easy to handle (13-inch) and light. The new Mac base configuration starts at €1,199 with a lazy processor, but 256 gigs SSD…

The other really cool thing is the brand-new

Apple iPad Pro:

iPadPro

The first thing that you notice is that the iPad actually floats in the air, held by the new Keyboard (the new Smart-Folio). It has a Trackpad, an improved keyboard and it appears to have a USB-C connection in the hinge. Not much can be said about the keyboard, yet if you go to the “iPad” section, you can see the new icon under the “Smart Keyboard”.

The iPad itself starts at €879 . For this price you get something like the iPhone 11 Pro camera and every other specs like an improved processor, and so on.
