Sausage Mummies

Ingredients for 20 portions:

250g flour

130ml water

10g dry yeast

3g sugar, 3g salt

30g olive oil

10 sausages

Instructions:

1. For the dough, mix the ingredients with your hands. Then let it rise, covered, for 30 minutes.

2. Roll out the dough very thinly on a floured work surface.

3. Cut it into strips, about 5 mm wide.

4. Halve the sausage and roll each piece with a strip of dough so that it looks like mummies.

5. Bake the mummies at 190 °C for about 12-15 minutes until they are golden brown.

6. If you want, you can create eyes with mustard.
