Ingredients for 10-12 waffles:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ cups warm milk
- ⅓ cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation:
- Mix the flour, salt, baking powder and sugar in a bowl.
- Whisk the eggs in a separate bowl and stir in the milk, butter and vanilla.
- Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and beat this until it is well- combined.
- Heat up your waffle iron and pour some of the dough.
- Bake the waffles until they are golden and crispy.
- Serve the waffles, when they are done, with toppings, like strawberries, jam, nutella, cinnamon and sugar or apple sauce.
